Bottle Biology

Bottle Biology, also part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, offers projects that help students understand how recyclable containers can be used to explore science and the environment. It encourages students to ask "what-if" questions, and provokes group discussion and cooperation.

Fast Plants

Fast Plants is located in Science House at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The program utilizes inquiry-based approaches, generates student curiosity and ownership, and provides teachers with the tools necessary to help students understand science, discovery, and exploration.

Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies

CIMSS is involved in a variety of formal and informal education projects. These range from classes offered at the University of Wisconsin, to workshops for high-school students and teachers, as well as a scholarship for qualified first-year freshmen at UW System schools.

Center for Biology Education

The Center for Biology Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, founded in
1988, has developed and coordinated a spectrum of activities/programs in biology education at
